Wireless Firing Systems
fireTEK Script Overview

The fireTEK script with the release of the 7.X firmware has two rows of headers and up to 12 columns of data.  The following table is an example script to show the function of each data value of the script.

In-depth information on the fireTEK Script is found here: fireTEK Script

The script provides both Pyro and DMX control directly from the fireTEK modules.  The DMX control is more than just a simple Open/Closed control, it includes various duration and ramping controls, too.

Sequences (Column 5) are alternate sub-scripts of pyro and DMX that can be individually controlled. This is very similar to scene controls on a DMX control.

The optional columns 9-12 provide optional organization of your field and product and allows you to quickly disable items based on Position, Safe Zone (which can also be used to identify calibers of mortars).

The Channel name provides a description of the pyrotechnic effect or name of product. This can be displayed on the bottom line of the FTQ screen with associated Rail, Channel, and Sequence.

When used by the fireTEK system, the script is loaded as a comma-separated value file or *.csv file.  The file consists of a 2-row header record that provides the name of the script and defines each value separated by commas in the script.  Each additional row or line is a separate record or scripted command.

The following is the above table in CSV format:

##fireTEK FTQ Example,,,,,,,,,,,
